About Auditing for Good

Auditing for Good is a not-for-profit organisation that evaluates charities based on their financial reporting and program performance.

It was founded by Deanne Firth FCA. Committed to using her skills to help others and well-versed in working with NGOs and evaluating the effectiveness of their projects, Deanne started out Auditing for Good to assist donors in making informed decisions about where to donate.

About Deanne Firth

Deanne Firth FCA is the Director of Tactical Super, a chartered accounting firm specialising in the audit of Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF’s).  She is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She was one of the first to complete the CA SMSF Specialisation and to be registered as an SMSF auditor with ASIC. Being an expert in the field of SMSF audits, Deanne imparts her knowledge by speaking at a variety of conferences and webinars on superannuation.

Deanne was awarded Auditor of the Year by SMSFAdviser at the SMSF and Accounting Awards 2017.  Likewise, she was chosen as a finalist under the Superannuation Auditor of the Year category at the Australian Accounting Awards 2018 organized by Accountants Daily.

Aside from being an SMSF specialist, Deanne is a board member of the B1G1, an organization that advocates a Business Giving Program that gives businesses the power to change lives.  She is also one of the authors of the international best-selling book Better Business, Better Life, Better World.
